Fatima Aghayeva BAŞARAN

I am a Baku-born artist, art educator, and curator. I combined the strong figurative foundation I received at the historic Azim Azimzade Art College and the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts with academic vision at Gazi University, where I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. studies.

Throughout my career, I haven't just created artworks; I have also managed exhibitions as a curator within Art Council Azerbaijan and served as an art teacher in various institutions. Alongside my artistic production, I actively take part in projects that strengthen the cultural ties of the Turkic World and produce content in the field of culture and arts through documentaries and interviews. With my impressionistic painting style and versatile professional background, I continue to take part in national and international art platforms and civil society organizations.
